|Astrid Sarkissian wins the February 2013 Inside White Award at Milan's White Show|
Young French designer, and London St. Martins School graduate, Astrid Sarkissian
was awarded the 2013 Inside White Award at Milan's White Show (the country's most famous Fashion Trade Shows)
Astrid's first collection combines Parisian elegance, London's extravagance and Italian silk printing knowhow (all the collection is printed in Como - renown for its silk excellence)
The inspiration for the collection comes from the universe, with the silk acting as a canvas the designer combines colourful precious stones and the grandeur of Gothic and Baroque architecture
. Geometric details or natural elements borrowed from the animal world such as beetles or birds blend together to achieve astounding designs.
The designer was presented the award by the President of Camera Italiana Buyer Moda Beppe Angiolini .
The award guarantees the designer the participation (with a dedicated space) in the future White show of September 2013.
