MULBERRY VISITS THE SEASIDE

Image via Raindrops of Sapphire

Coming from a Seaside town, everything about the new Mulberry Collection reminds me of home.

Fun, Quirky and essentially timeless classics; provoking memories of typical British Family Holidays to the seaside.

Emma Hill, Creative Director for Mulberry took her inspiration from personal memories of the seaside, reminiscing of times sat in their swimsuits in the rain, eating fish and chips; a small detail not forgotten in the organisation of the Mulberry party. Along with chips wrapped in newspaper and pink lemonade, guests took away animal balloons, an idea proving to be a big hit.

British photographer, Tim Walker shot the campaign at no other than the famous Brighton Pier, acknowledged for its Seaside Culture. Amongst oversized ice-cream cones, Brighton rock and Candy Stripes, Mulberry catches the essence of Old School nostalgic holidays with playful colours perfectly placed against the backdrop of blue skies.

Moving on from the Campaign and Party we look at the Bags, and as always Mulberry maintains and produces a design with such strong features typical of British Fashion. Henry Holland comments on Mulberry as being ‘Quintessentially British.’ while another guest comments on Mulberry as ‘classy with that injection of fun’. A perfectly fitting description for Mulberry’s new Spring/Summer Collection.
