"DON'T YOU STEP ON MY RED-SOLED SHOES" LOUBOUTIN TELLS ZARA (and anyone else daring to copy their Red Soles Trademark!)

This time CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN has come fighting back strongly.  In the latest press release form the Maison, the message is quite clear:

"Christian Louboutin will continue to protect and enforce its rights to its Red Sole Trademark which has been its iconic signature for the past 20 years."

Following some media suggestions that due to a court ruling in France in the Christian Louboutin v. Zara case, it was the end of the Red Soles Trademark which Louboutin is famous for worldwide , the Maison felt it was time to hit back with some corrections.

"We would like to clarify that what has been disputed and canceled is only one French registration of said Red sole Trademark.

Christian Louboutin continues to own valid and enforceable trademark rights in its Red Sole Trademark, including in France itself as well as throughout the world. A number of court decisions have recognized the strong association between Christian Louboutin and the Red Sole Trademark, including in France. "

Quite frankly the Green Pebbles Girls are rather at a loss as to why anyone would buy what can only be defined as 'Louboutin Wannabes".

There is only one red sole in our opinion and that is Louboutin.... anything else is simply NOT LOUBOUTIN!
